My Book Review:

Lethal Lifestyles is the sixth book in A Headlines in High Heels Mystery series. This entertaining cozy mystery is set in Richmond, Virginia and follows the latest investigative adventure of crime reporter and shoe maven Nichelle Clarke.

Nichelle is a maid of honor in the wedding of Richmond Telegraph co-workers Melanie and Grant Parker. All is going well at the rehearsal dinner at the Calais Vineyard in the scenic Virginia Shenandoah Valley region, that is until the body of Mitch Burke is found in a wine barrel, and the groom suddenly finds himself a suspect in the murder of his old rival. With the help of Joey D'Amore, Nichelle's Mafia connected boyfriend and ex-boyfriend Kyle, an ATF Special Agent, Nichelle has her hands full as she investigates the murder case, and uncovers a lot of secrets that were supposed to be kept hidden. And if that isn't enough, Nichelle also has to keep her arch nemesis rival Channel 4 TV reporter Charlie Lewis off the trail while trying to save her job!

Author LynDee Walker weaves a fun action packed tale that is full of humor, drama, romance and suspense. I have become such a fan of author LynDee Walker's wonderful cozy murder mysteries series, and the latest installment, Lethal Lifestyles kept me engaged and entertained. I loved the mixture of humor and suspense in this story, I was easily drawn into Nichelle's latest investigative adventure, there was enough intriguing twists and turns that kept me guessing what would happen next. I look forward to reading many more of Nichelle's investigative adventures!

If you are looking for a delightfully intriguing cozy mystery whodunit with fun characters and a dash of romance in the mix, then Lethal Lifestyles is the book for you!
