Playlist - Waiting for Prince Harry
1. C + C Music Factory, “Gonna Make You Sweat.”
This was the first song mentioned in the book, in Chapter One.
2. The Zambonis, “Captain.”
Kylie doesn’t know it, but when she meets Harrison she has actually just met the captain of the Dallas Demons hockey team...
3. Kylie Minogue, “Love At First Sight.”
Kylie never believed in this...until she met Harrison.
4. Muse, “Madness.”
Kylie and Harrison both are huge Muse fans, with this being their favorite song.
5. Lady Gaga, “Paparazzi.”
This song is in the book as well.
6. will.i.am and Britney Spears, “Scream & Shout.”
This is what women seem to do when they see Hockey God Harrison Flynn in public.
7. Jessie Ware, “Wildest Moments.”
Some sexy music they listened to on their first date.
8. Tegan and Sara, “Closer.”
Would you want to be anything else after a fantastic first date?
9. Sara Bareilles, “Brave.”
This song is symbolic of what both characters have to do so they can grow together.
10. The Zambonis, “Skate Around The World For You.”
Which is what any Hockey God would do for the woman he loves, right?
11. Shakira, “The One Thing.”
Which is how Kylie sees Harrison...
12. Andy Grammer, “I Choose You.”
And I think this title says it all.
About The Author
But writing about city council meetings and restaurant franchises was not as much fun as writing for young women trying to figure out their careers and potential boyfriends. So Aven got herself a job in television that allowed her to write at night. Connectivity is Aven’s debut novel; Waiting For Prince Harry and Chronicles of a Lincoln Park Fashionista (New Adult romantic comedy) will be published this year.
Aven lives in Dallas with her family. When she is not writing, Aven enjoys shopping, cooking, connecting with friends on social media, and watching any show that features Gordon Ramsay.

Book Description:
The only exception to rules, of course, would be running away with Prince Harry. But living in Dallas and not knowing Prince Harry make this a non-option.
Or does it?
Because when Kylie accidentally falls into the lap of a gorgeous ginger guy—yes, even more gorgeous than the real Prince Harry—all bets are off. Kylie’s life takes some unexpected twists and turns thanks to this encounter. Could this stranger be the one to show Kylie how to live in the present?
Book Excerpt:
We get up and step into the store next to our bench, which happens to be a fancy stationery and candle shop.
As soon as the door closes behind us, Harrison moves over to a candle display on a large round table and takes off his sunglasses. He clips them onto the collar of his shirt, while I push mine up on the top of my head. Now we can see each other’s eyes, and Harrison’s green eyes are sparkling at me.
“That’s better,” Harrison says, smiling at me.
“I agree,” I say, smiling back at him.
“Hello, can I help you find anything?” a saleswoman asks.
Harrison looks at her, but then glances back at me. “I think,” he says, “I’ve already found what I need.”
I rest my hand on the edge of the table to keep myself steady, because the way he’s staring at me right now makes me almost dizzy with excitement.
“Oh, wonderful,” the saleswoman says.
“Yes, it is,” Harrison answers, his eyes never leaving mine.
“Well, please let me know if you need anything else,” she says before walking away.
Harrison then looks straight at me. “I do need something else.”
Ooooh, I really love this place where we are right now.
“And what would that be?”
“Well, obviously I need to buy one of these candles now,” Harrison says, picking up a Seda France box.
“Perfect. These are my favorite candles,” I say smartly.
“Are they now?” Harrison says, raising an eyebrow.
Okay. Candle shopping is an extremely hot activity. Who knew?
“Yes,” I say, picking up one to inhale. “Would you care to smell Japanese Quince?”
Harrison nods. I extend the candle toward him and he wraps his hand around mine, so we are both holding the candle.
And any nerve I had left just completely imploded the second his hand wrapped around mine.
“While I see many things I like at this table,” Harrison says, leaning forward to smell Japanese Quince, “there’s one thing in particular, other than this candle, that I need.”
He stands up straight but keeps his hand wrapped over mine.
“What would that be?” I ask softly.
“Dinner with you. At my place. Tonight.”

My Book Review:
Waiting for Prince Harry is a sweet romantic novel that follows twenty-four old Kylie Reed's dream of finding her very own ginger haired Prince Harry.
Kylie is a Dallas boutique display designer who dreams of becoming a fashion designer. Practical with a touch of OCD, Kylie knows what she wants in life, but instead of reaching out and realizing her dream, it always seems to stay tucked away in her future plans. Her ideal man would be just like the ginger-haired British Prince Harry.
While attending her brother's wedding, Kylie ducks out of the reception and has her world turned upside down when she literally falls into the lap of a hunky ginger-haired man, Harrison Flynn, the famous Dallas Demons hockey player. Is Harrison the ideal man and Prince Harry that Kylie has been waiting for?
Waiting for Prince Harry is an entertaining romantic story that easily draws the reader into Kylie and Harrison's story. It was so much fun following the development of their relationship, even with the drama and obstacles that stood in their way (especially the paparazzi stalkers and crazed hockey fan girls), their connection and chemistry was swoon worthy. Harrison was the perfect man for Kylie, he believed in her and their relationship ... oh how this guy made my heart go pitter patter.
I really loved how each chapter started with a pop quiz that gave clues of what would come in the chapter, it was fun and reminded me of the quizzes that we all take while browsing through magazines. I loved the mixture of comedy, romance, and drama that was intertwined within the storyline, it kept me engaged and turning the pages. This was a fun and fast-paced easy read that kept me thoroughly entertained.
Waiting for Prince Harry is a delightful romantic novel that will make you laugh, sigh, and leave a smile on your face.
