Book Description:

Belle gets the best Christmas present ever, a man in uniform! Ian is a soldier home on leave. Neither of them have any idea how good it will feel to fall in love or how hard it will be to say good-bye. Anna is spending the holidays alone again with only her faithful dog Angel to keep her company. She can’t afford to pay the rent and her landlord is threatening to kick her out. At least she’s finished with her chemo treatments. She can be thankful for that. Plus, there’s Rhys, the handsome visitor with kind eyes. One fateful, cold and snowy night a chance encounter changes everything. Love is lost. Love is found. Life will never be the same.

Peace & Goodwill, a Christmas novella in The Minstrel Series, grabs the heartstrings and pulls hard.

My Book Review:

Peace & Goodwill is a wonderful seasonal novella that will get you into the Christmas spirit. Author Lee Strauss weaves an inspirational tale of love, loss, hope, peace, and promise that will tug at the heartstrings and stir your soul.

Peace & Goodwill follows the story of two women who are both struggling through the Christmas season. For Belle loneliness turns to love when a soldier home on leave stops in at the used bookshop where she works and a mutual attraction develops. For Anna, living in the moment with only her dog as a companion is what she strives to do while battling cancer. For both women, their paths will cross on Christmas Eve and change everything ... Christmas is the season for miracles, peace, and goodwill.

This is a lovely little novella that easily draws the reader into Belle and Anna's alternating stories. You can't help but get wrapped up in their stories, it takes you on emotional roller coaster ride that will leave you spent but with a smile on your face. Peace & Goodwill is the perfect inspirational and feel good story to kick off the Christmas holiday season.

RATING: 4 STARS

    1. Hi Lee! Thank you for the opportunity to host your virtual book tour event. I really enjoyed reading Peace & Goodwill, and without giving out any spoilers, I have to say that I was really surprised how Anna & Belle "lives" were intertwined ... I didn't see that coming! :)
